🐷 Meet Penny the Pig
Penny the Pig is the backyard’s cheerful ambassador of **joyful gratitude** and **simple kindness**. She may love a good mud puddle, but she loves her friends and God’s creation even more. Penny teaches everyone that a heart filled with thanks is the happiest heart of all, no matter the circumstances.
She is often found humming a little song while tending her small garden plot or sharing her fresh produce with neighbors like Ruby the Rabbit and Chloe the Chicken. Penny moves through the backyard with a happy snort and a smile, always noticing the small blessings in her day.
In every story, Penny reminds us to be thankful in all things, knowing that every good gift comes from above.

🐷 Penny’s Story Corner
One morning, Penny was working in her garden when a sudden, unexpected rainstorm washed away some of her freshly planted seeds. She stood in the mud, feeling a little disappointed.
Opal the Owl flew down to perch on the fence, offering comfort. "Oh, Penny, I'm so sorry. All that hard work, ruined by the rain."
Penny looked at the rain-soaked earth, then up at the dark clouds. She smiled and gave a little, cheerful snort. "Thank you, Opal, for your kind words! But the rain isn't ruining things, it's just helping the soil for next time. And now, I have a perfectly wonderful, deep mud puddle to enjoy!"
She immediately trotted to the largest puddle and settled in with a joyful sigh. "Plus, it means I can take a break and share a cup of warm tea with you instead of planting! What a wonderful blessing."
