🦅 Haley’s Story Corner
Ruby the Rabbit was frustrated. She wanted to hop from the far side of the meadow to the pond, but every time she started, she got distracted by a sweet scent, a colorful flower, or a fun game. She never made it to the water.
Haley landed silently nearby. "Ruby," she called gently. "Why are your hops not taking you where you want to go?"
"I keep getting distracted by the things right next to me!" Ruby sighed.
Haley pointed with her wing. "Look up, little one. See the pond from here. That’s your goal. When you run, keep your eyes on the *finish line*, not the distractions right by your paws. That's called focus. When you keep your vision clear, the path becomes straight."
Ruby followed Haley’s advice. She focused only on the shimmering water of the pond, and for the first time, she hopped all the way without wavering.
