Daphne the Duck is a picture of smooth sailing, reminding everyone that while her feet may be paddling quickly beneath the surface, her heart is always practicing **patience** and **trusting** in God's timing. She is observant, peaceful, and knows that good things come to those who wait.
She lives near the tranquil edge of the pond, where she often glides past Nora the Newt and enjoys quiet moments with Toby the Turtle. Daphne is excellent at moving forward without rushing. She teaches that patience isn't just about waiting without complaining, but about waiting with hope and purpose.

"I can't wait! The waiting makes me fidgety," Ruby admitted.
Daphne smiled. "Waiting is like swimming, dear. You can paddle like crazy and still go nowhere, or you can trust the current and let it take you. Those berries need the sun's full time to be truly sweet. If you rush, you'll get a sour berry."
Daphne pointed to a few small sprouts near the water. "Even these tiny plants teach us patience. They don't rush their growth, and neither should we. Trust the plan, and the sweetness will come." Ruby sat down and decided to wait, knowing that God's timing was perfect.
