Dakota is a watchful, sensitive friend who teaches others how to find tranquility.
She lives in the quiet grove bordering the thicket, often grazing near Luna the Lamb or gently guiding Rory the Raccoon away from trouble. Dakota is a quick runner when she needs to be, but she prefers to move slowly and deliberately, seeking out moments of prayerful stillness throughout the day.
In every story, Dakota shows that when we anchor our hearts in God, we receive a peace that guards us from fear and worry.

🦌 Dakota’s Story Corner
The wind began to howl, and a sudden, loud sound echoed through the woods. Lily the Red Fox jumped, and Max the Labrador barked anxiously. Everyone felt a sudden wave of fear.
Dakota, who had been drinking from the spring, simply lifted her head. She didn't bolt. Instead, she stood perfectly still, closing her eyes for a moment in quiet prayer. She took a slow, deep breath, and then opened her eyes, looking out over the jittery animals.
"It's only the farmer's tractor starting up far away," she announced calmly. "But fear is a loud sound, isn't it? It helps me to remember the one thing that is always louder: God's promise of peace."
She walked gently to the others. "Let's all be still for a moment," she whispered. "Let's breathe and remember to trust." The sound of the tractor faded, and the peace in Dakota’s heart settled over the meadow.
