The day the new fence was built near the pond, a small bird flew into it by accident. The bird was scared and hurt, and the other animals were unsure how to help without frightening it further.

After a few minutes of quiet, the little bird slowly hopped out from under the fence, feeling safe near Clara’s massive, reassuring form. It rested on her nose for a moment before fluttering weakly up to a nearby branch.
