Chloe spends her days scratching for treasure near the garden gate, often sharing a kind word with Penny the Pig or offering a freshly laid egg to Felix the Frog for a special breakfast. She may not fly high like Carl the Carrier Pigeon, but she knows her place is important and her contributions are valuable.

🐔 Chloe’s Story Corner
One year, the summer was drier than usual. The grass was pale, and the favorite berry bushes were sparse. Roger the Rooster grumbled, complaining about the lack of juicy worms and the dusty ground.
Chloe, however, was quietly enjoying her dust bath. "It's a beautiful day, Roger!" she clucked cheerfully. "The sun is warm, and look! I found this wonderful, clean patch of dirt. It makes my feathers feel so soft!"
Roger stopped grumbling. "But Chloe, what about the worms?"
"Oh, we'll find them," she replied. "But even if we only find a few, we can be thankful for those few. And we can thank God for the shade we're sitting in and the water we still have."
Roger soon realized that Chloe’s grateful heart was more comforting than a hundred fat worms. Her contentment was infectious, and soon, the whole coop was finding small things to be thankful for.
